i spent yesterday night watching dvds. didn't sleep at all until 9am, when i decided to take a 15min short nap. when i woke up, it was almost noon. and i was late for m group meeting. checked my phone and realized there were 3 missed calls from yanwan. hehe.. called her back immediately and found out only two members were present. the others, like me, were late. but i was the latest. i reached tp at almost 2pm. haha..
went to pulau ubin today. set off from school at 2 plus. reached at 3 plus. we were all quite excited ya. cos i think me, sak and jo have never been to pulau ubin before. ok, maybe i was the only one who was excited. but whatever.. the bumboat ride was very, err, can't find a word to describe. anyway, the ride made me uncomfortable. and quite dizzy. so we came to the conclusion that we should provide private ferry services for our "resort guests". haha.. when we finally reached the island, we went to the bicycle rental shop to rent bicycles. and we all unanimously think that the guy at the bike shop is very cute. though he looks younger than us. anyway, the bike rental cost 4 bucks. daylight robbery considering that we only had 2 hours to use the bike before we had to return it. so we just rode around "our area" (the area we were assigned to develop our resort), looking for ideas and things to improve on. there were so many uphill slopes, we almost died tryng to ride our bicycles up the hill. but there was an almost equal number of downhill slopes so yeah, quite fun going against the wind and feeling the wind on my face. but damn, there were so many dogs around the place. but they didn't do anything to me so yeah, i just avoided going near the dogs.. also, there was this time when we were at this road junction and we were trying to decide which way to go, i was talking to the others with them all facing me. and my back was facing the bushes. then halfway through our discussion, sakinah suddenly looked at me with a (what i thought was a) horrified expression on her face and she beckoned for me to come over to her side. i just totally freaked out cos i didn't know what she saw and because my back was facing whatever she can see and i was the only one with my back to the bushes. i just started screaming as if the cows wouldn't come home and ran over to their side. turns out, a mosquito was flying around my arms for awhile already so sak was just trying to tell me about the mosquito. that was paiseh act number one. so after that we continued on our way back to the bicycle rental shop to return our bikes. when we reachd the shop, jolyn tried to park her bike next to mine but she couldn't reach the springy thing that keeps the bike standing cos she was standing at the wrong side so she asked me to help her park her bike. i tried to push the thing down with my foot but because i was trying to reach over my bike to reach her bike, i ended up doing the same repetitive action but still couldn't get her bike to stand. paiseh act number two.
had to eat dinner out today. mum only cooked enough for three. so i had to eat alone at toa payoh. but because the place was so crowded, i had to takeaway my food. mcdonalds was full of people waiting to watch the world cup match. thats why i couldn't eat my meal there. anyway, i did a good deed today! i was walking home from the bus stop to my home and i found this pass on the pavement. i picked it up and saw that it was a cisco pass. i was like whoa, this guy is so gonna kill himself if he can't find his pass. so i just picked up the pass thinking i'll just send it back tomorrow, to the place they indicated us to send it to if we found the pass. and i was happily walking home when i saw the guy whose photo was on the cisco pass. he is one lucky person i tell you. great timing lah. i just happen to find the pass, i pick it up, i continue walking home, he rushes out to find his pass, and i happen to see him rush out to look for his pass. when i returned him the pass, he was so happy he kept saying thank you. i kept saying you're welcome. awkward moment lah. and guess what.. the guy actually stays directly one floor below me. i was walking behind him back to my block and got into the same lift as him. i pressed button 14 and he pressed 13. i was like "err.. ok.. what a coincidence.." in my head. but i'm happy.. because i've been a nice neighbour today! haha...
less than 2 hours to june 14. it's already 11pm now. i'm going to be 18 very soon. goodbye sweet seventeen. hello 18! i feel so old all of a sudden. i'm going to be 18 already. oh my...
